This Privacy Policy explains how Mr Orange collects, uses, stores, and shares data when you use the app to restyle photos or generate videos from presets. The app is operated by an independent individual developer.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the iOS application Mr Orange, the website mrorange.app, and related support communications. It covers data collected directly by the app and data processed through third-party SDKs and infrastructure that support app functionality.

2. Data we collect

a. Content you provide

  • Photos, image inputs, prompts, style selections, presets, and generation settings you choose in the app.
  • Videos or generated outputs created from your requests.
  • Messages you send if you contact support.

b. App and device data

  • Push notification token generated through Firebase so the app can deliver notifications.
  • App interaction and attribution data collected through AppsFlyer for analytics, campaign measurement, fraud prevention, and performance monitoring.
  • Technical information such as app version, device type, operating system version, timestamps, crash or diagnostic context, and network metadata needed to keep the service working.

c. Advertising identifier

  • If tracking permission is requested and granted through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, the app may access the device advertising identifier (IDFA) for attribution and analytics purposes.
  • If permission is denied, we do not intentionally access IDFA for tracking.

3. How we use data

  • To process photo and video generation requests through our own ComfyUI-based backend.
  • To return generated results to your device.
  • To send service-related push notifications, when enabled by you.
  • To understand app performance, measure installs or campaigns, troubleshoot failures, and improve quality.
  • To protect the service against abuse, fraud, security incidents, and policy violations.
  • To respond to support, privacy, or legal requests.

4. Retention and deletion

We keep uploaded media and generated output on our generation infrastructure for no longer than 24 hours after processing, unless a longer period is required to investigate abuse, fraud, security incidents, or legal obligations.

  • App content used for generation is intended to be temporary.
  • After the retention window expires, media and generated results are scheduled for deletion from active processing storage.
  • Operational logs, analytics records, and support emails may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for diagnostics, security, or compliance.

5. When we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers only as needed to operate the app.

  • Firebase: for push notification delivery and related infrastructure.
  • AppsFlyer: for attribution, analytics, campaign measurement, and anti-fraud processing.
  • Hosting or infrastructure providers: where required to run the app backend and temporary storage.
  • Legal or safety disclosures: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or service integrity.

6. Your choices

  • You can decline tracking permission when the iOS ATT prompt is shown.
  • You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
  • You can avoid submitting images or prompts you do not want processed.
  • You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of data that we still retain.

7. Security and sensitive content

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data during transmission and storage. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, so please do not upload content that is highly sensitive unless you are comfortable with temporary processing on a remote server.

8. Children’s privacy

Mr Orange is not directed to children under the age required by applicable local law to consent to data processing. If you believe a child submitted personal data without authorization, contact us so we can review and remove it when appropriate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes, including future monetization through in-app purchases or subscriptions. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
